2012 Founding of my own business.

2006 Appointment as RVP Asia/Pacific and Member of the Executive Committee for the Consumer Division of Merck KGaA.
Starting in 2008 also Chairman of the newly established Consumer Company in China.

2001 Dispatch to Tokio as Director of the Pharma–Division and Member of the Board of Merck Japan Ltd with the goal of restructuring and expanding the pharmaceutical business in Japan.

1998 Move to Merck KGaA as Director of Business Development and Member of the Pharma Management Board, responsible for all activities in the areas of M&A, Licenses, New Technologies, Strategic Redeployment (Focus Oncology).

1996 Promotion to the position of SVP and Director of the business unit Diabetes/ZNS at HMR Deutschland.

1991 Dispatch as Marketing & Sales Director to Hoechst Portuguesa.
After the merger of the Pharma Division with Hoechst Marion Roussel (HMR) appointment as Commercial Director in Portugal.

1988 Move to Medical Marketing Manager and later International Product Manager at the headquarters of Hoechst AG/Pharma Division.

1984 Start of my industrial career at Hoechst AG as an employee in the pharmaceutical field service in Germany.

2004 Participant of Merck University (Kellogg, HKUST, INSEAD)

1995 Participant of the Hoechst International Manager’s Programme attending the university seminar on the German economy

1987 Training as Sales and Communications Trainer (Hoechst AG and Institute for Conflict Research and Crisis Management)
